The U.S. Embassy in Chile, in conjunction with Fundacion Ganamos Todos, the Major League Baseball Player’s Trust, and the U.S. Department of State’s Sports Diplomacy program, is organizing a program in Chile with former MLB players Pedro Feliciano, from Puerto Rico, and Tony Armas, Jr., from Venezuela.
The program promotes social inclusion, community involvement, and healthy habits through sports. In addition to traveling to Antofagasta and Tocopilla and providing a training camp for immigrant youth and local communities in Santiago, the players will participate in a baseball demonstration open to the public at the National Stadium in Santiago on Saturday, March 30 at 11am.
