There are reports of a possible demonstration called for this afternoon, Monday, December 2, 2019 in the vicinity of the U.S. Embassy. American citizens who require emergency consular services are advised to
contact the U.S. Embassy duty officer from 15:00 until the opening of business on Tuesday, December 3.
Additionally, there are reports of a protest activity calling for individuals with firearms to shoot into the air starting at 22:00 hours tonight. The U.S. Embassy has issued a security notice that advises all employees and family members to be in their residences no later than 21:45 hours tonight out of an abundance of caution.
