La Idea is a program that supports Latin American entrepreneurs with an interest in entering foreign markets. Participants spend two weeks working with the host incubator program to learn about the US market and understand the specific industry’s processes.
As part of the Incubator Program’s third round, Pacific Alliance countries (Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru) will select approximately 100 entrepreneurs to attend four modules of industry-specific training, mentoring, and team-building activities with four business incubators in the U.S.
The program includes:
- 5 days of workshops, lectures and visits to specialized facilities to learn about technologies developed in the US for each industry, US laws and regulations, how to become a part of the value chain in each industry, as well as US import and export requirements.
- 5 additional days to work out of the host incubator’s facility to follow up on new relationships and opportunities generated during the first week.
