
NASA will host a live Google+ Hangout briefing on Wednesday October 29 at 4 p.m. (Santiago time) regarding Operation IceBridge’s current airborne field campaign in Antarctica. The briefing will be in English.
The Google+ Hangout will include U.S. Ambassador to Chile Michael Hammer and NASA Chief Scientist Dr. Ellen Stofan from Punta Arenas, as well as officials from NASA Headquarters and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. The discussion will cover Operation IceBridge and the measurement of Earth’s ice coverage, our changing climate, and the global mission of Earth science.
