Last weekend, 28 professors from distinct schools in Santiago were trained in a School Safety course developed by USAID-OFDA, the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance of the United States, which forms part of the Agency for International Development in Chile.
The initiative was established in partnership with the Academy of Civil Protection of ONEMI. Its main objective is to improve emergency preparedness in schools, especially if an emergency happens during the school day. This course was held at the Instituto Alonso de Ercilla de los Hermanos Maristas – Santiago Center. For more information regarding training in this topic please go to: http://www.onemi.cl/historia/
