Two U.S. Experts on Educational Evaluation will Participate in the Third International Annual Conference of the P. Catholic University’s Education Dep

The two specialists on educational evaluation, Saul Geiser and Brent Duckor, will visit Santiago next week to participate in the Third International Annual Conference. The conference is open to the public and will be held on October 15 at the Aula Magna, Centro de Extensión UC (Alameda 390, Santiago Centro), from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Professor Saul Geiser, research associate at the Center for Studies in Higher Education at the University of California, Berkeley, and Professor Brent Duckor, Ph.D., teacher educator and psychometrician in the Department of Secondary Education at San Jose State University’s College of Education, California.

In addition to the two keynote speakers, Marta Edwards, a researcher at the Center for Studies of Development and Psychosocial Stimulation (CEDEP), will talk about measurement and evaluation in early childhood education.

The PEL Magazine –Latin-American Educational Research Magazine – is a digital publication developed by the Faculty of Education of the P. Catholic University of Chile. The seminar is organized by P. Catholic University of Chile in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States.
