Schedule an Appointment

All services offered by our American Citizens Unit are provided by appointment only, which must be scheduled online before coming to the Embassy, located at Andres Bello 2800, Las Condes, Santiago.

If you arrive at the consulate for any non-emergency passport service without an appointment, you will be asked to return after securing an appointment. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy, which will ensure that services are offered in a more efficient manner, with shorter wait times.  Please note that failure to renew a passport in a timely manner prior to your travel is not an emergency service, and you will need an appointment to receive a new passport.

In order to minimize wait times, customers will only be authorized to enter the Embassy 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Please read carefully the information regarding the service you are requesting before scheduling your appointment to avoid delays in your service or coming to the Consular Section unprepared.

Please be mindful that effective September 2017, for any Federal Benefits / Social Security services you must first contact the Federal Benefits Unit located in Argentina by using the online form and only come to the Embassy for a service if SSA requests you to do so.  For more information, click here

We remind you that American Citizen Services does not handle any visa inquiries that U.S. citizens may have regarding non-U.S. citizen relatives or friends. Please go to the Visas tab for further information.

To schedule your appointment, please follow the instructions provided on the link below.  Once you have scheduled your appointment, a confirmation sheet will pop up on your screen, which you must print out and bring with you the day of your appointment.

This confirmation sheet is not sent to your email, so make sure you are prepared to print it out before scheduling.
