U.S. Ambassador Carol Perez was pleased to join the trade dialogue with foreign affairs ministers, trade ministers, and other high-ranking representatives from Asia-Pacific countries held in Vina del Mar, Chile, March 14-15.
The Trump Administration is committed to engaging actively with all our Asia-Pacific partners and intends to remain a key member of the Asia-Pacific community on trade and other issues. The United States Government is developing a very active trade agenda that will deepen our trade relations with all of our Asia-Pacific partners, through high-standard agreements that advance free and fair trade, expand our economies, and support jobs for our citizens.
