What is the actual demand for products from Latin America in the United States? Join a webchat on 20 August 16:00 GMT with Guillermo Veliz, President of Amazonas Imports Inc., a California importer of Central and South America products that will give an overview of the demand and distribution of Latin American products in the U.S. West Coast.

According to the Office of the US Trade Representative in 2013, the U.S. imported from Peru 1.3 Billion of agricultural products. Leading categories included fresh vegetables ($ 327 million), fruits and processed vegetables ($ 269 million), fresh fruit (bananas not included) ($ 202 million), and coffee (unroasted) ($ 173 million).
