Join a webchat on 20 August 16:00 GMT with Guillermo Veliz, President of Amazonas Imports Inc., a California importer of Central and South America products that will give an overview of the demand and distribution of Latin American products in the U.S. West Coast.
According to the Office of the US Trade Representative in 2013, the U.S. imported from Peru 1.3 Billion of agricultural products. Leading categories included fresh vegetables ($ 327 million), fruits and processed vegetables ($ 269 million), fresh fruit (bananas not included) ($ 202 million), and coffee (unroasted) ($ 173 million). This program will be in Spanish and it is part of the series “Building on FTA,” organized by the U.S. Embassy in Lima in collaboration with PromPerú.
